Hey Gustin Bunch - Dave Cloninger (In charge of the Buck's Bunch e-mail list) - included the following in some email he sent this way. Because of the closeness of the name Gaston to Gustin - perhaps one of you have run across this group of people. I have noticed people I knew were Gustin's on census as Gaston and other mispellings.

Subject: GASTON: MA>NY>OH>MO>KS>OK

I have a fairly large database of GASTON material, which I gladly share with
anyone. But what I need is not in it: my great grandfather Lauren (also:
Larn, Lon, Larin, Larren, Lawrence, etc.) T. GASTON was born 1825/26 in OH.
Both his parents were born in NY. He married Mary Jane HANSON/HENSEN
in Scioto Co,OH. I believe that he has brothers Nathaniel Squires GASTON,
b. 1833 OH, m. Charlotte Anna DECKER; and Lyman GASTON; also Joseph GASTON.
Lauren T. GASTON lived in Jackson Co,OH,Scioto Co,OH,
Reynolds Co, OH, Wayne Co,TN, Reno Co,KS, and died and is buried in
Woodward Co, OK. I believe his father may be Elijah GASTON, son of Robert,
son of Alexander of Massachusetts. According to the book Ohio Valley
Genealogies, by Charles A. Hanna (I have a list of the family lines included
in
that cook), and other sources, one Marshall GASTON did a genealogy of the
GASTON line that goes back to Alexander in MA. It must be in manuscript
form; I haven't been able to locate it.
If anyone can shed light on any of the above, please contact me. Katie.
