I have attached some Gustin families for Gustin Researchers. I
descend from the Peterson family of NY, NJ, Ohio and points west.
The Gustin family as you are probably aware was a French Hugenant
family with roots back to France and Holland. They intermarried with
the Dutch and Scotch. I descend from the New Netherlands Dutch.
I hope this will help some Gustin Researchers:
Amos Gustin Born 9-7-1753, Florida Orange,Co.., NY married Est
1782-1811, Fleming Co.., KY died 4-9-1823, Adams Co.., Ohio married
Susannah Jones b 10-2-1770 in PA, died 7-25-1823 Adams Co.., Ohio.
They had children: 1)Sarah Gustin b 10-22-1796 married August 18,
1814, spouses, Jeremiah Evarst and Joseph Gray.
2) John Gustin b 1-22-1799 married 3-19-1818 Died 7-27-1876, married
Susannah Scott (buried in Adams Co.., Ohio Louisville, Cemetery. 3)
Thomas Gustin b 3-2-1801, died 9-14-1849, married Mary Peterson
3-1-1822 4) Amos Gustin born 2-18-1803 married 5-5-1825 died EST
1831-1894 married Elizabeth Unknown
5) William Gustin born 6-28--1805 married 9-7-1826, Fountain Co.., IN,
died 8-1-1876 married Elizabeth Ashenhurst 6) Grizella Gustin born
2-26-1807 married EST 1821-1854, married George S. Shelby died Est
1821-1901 7) Alphas Gustin born 11-25-1809 married 1830 Adams County,
Ohio, Died 12-3-1875 in Emerson, Iowa, North Grove, Cemetery, married

8) Jeremiah Wilson Gustin born 1-6-1813 married 3-2-1843 Rachel Lovina
Maddox died 5-166-1880 in Ringgold Co.., Iowa, Union Cemetery 9)
Rebecca Gustin born 12-25-1814 married EST 1828-1861 Died EST
1828-1908 married Unknown Ramsey 10) Susan Gustin born 4-16-1816 died
7-20-1818 11) Jacob Gustin born 4-25-1817 married EST 1834-1867, Died
EST 1834-1907 married Emily Hill and Martha Anderson buried Ringgold
Co.., Iowa, Union Cemetery
12) Samuel Jefferson Gustin born 5-16-1819 married Harriet Hayes, 13)
Benajah Gustin born 6-3-1821 Died 8-17-1865 married Anne Brewer
Isaminger.
Have some info on these above as to children.
Also These Gustins came out of NJ, to WV and PA and then to Adams
Co.., Ohio and then some went to Utah as early as 1848, converted to
Mormons??? Died in Salt Lake, UT.
