I found the Lawrence Co. OH genealogical website very nicely done, with many
transcriptions from old newspaper notices & stories, and other records.
Here's what I found on Gustins in their material. The "Lawrence Register"
website is at http://www.net/user/Historical/.
This appears to be part of the family of Samuel J [efferson?] Gustin,
son of Amos & Susannah Jones Gustin.

NEWSPAPER ARTICLES
Last Saturday morning the Yates [George & Moses] severely stabbed James
Gustin at Hecla Furnace and were found last Wednesday in bed at a hotel in
Ashland.
