Subject: [GSGM] Fw: [FSGS] FSGS Liaison Newsletter - Vol. 6 No. 9
Date: Sat, 3 Feb 2007 18:31:32 -0500 (Eastern Standard Time)
Along with this issue of the Liaison Newsletter, this is a reminder that the
February meeting of GSGM is next Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Florida
Christian School's library research room at 2:00 p.m. Remember to bring a
love letter" from the past to share. It actually doesn't have to be a "love
letter" but could just be a letter that helped in researching your family or
just in helping you know your ancestors or family members better.
Bring a friend.
Also, if you are a GSGM member and did not get your Heritage quarterly at
the December meeting, I am mailing them this week. If you plan to be at the
February meeting, let me know and I'll bring it to you to save postage. I am
also putting the next issue together and need your materials and queries to
keep it interesting. Remember, it is YOUR quarterly.
And, last but not least, we have schedule Ann Bergelt of the Florida State
Genealogical Society and Osceola County to present a couple of workshops on
April 14. The focus will be German and foreign research. We realize that not
everyone has German ancestry but she will include info to help most of us
with foreign research. The cost is yet to be determined but it will include
lunch. The meeting also will be at Florida Christian School from 9:00 a.m.
until 2:00. Details will follow as soon as I have them, but this will allow
you to set the day aside. The workshops will take the place of our regular
meeting which was moved to April 15 because of Easter Sunday. If you have
any questions, please feel free to contact me.
