I am new to this list and would like to find anyone who may have
information on Olive GRISWOLD (d. 28 Dec 1862, Burton, Geauga, Ohio),
wife of Gilbert FERRISS. On a recent trip to Salt Lake City I came
across an article in the "Raconteur" which suggested that the parents of
this Olive GRISWOLD were Jonathan GRISWOLD and Sarah OSBORN of CT. A
family bible of Jonathan and Sarah shows the birth of a child, Olive on
5 Feb 1778. I am trying to find substantial evidence to prove that
these two Olives are the same person. Would appreciate any information
anyone might have.
I am also looking for any information on the descendants of Ephriam
GRISWOLD and Experience Stedman, parents of Jonathan GRISWOLD.
