Chris I too am looking for Grieg who came to NZ. I have only just started
this research though as my daughter in law's father's line is Grieg.

I have a Thomas Burnett Greig born 10th Sep 1826 St. Nicholas Aberdeen
Scotland and died in 1865. He married a Susannah Smith in 1858 in Australia
and had a son George Greig also born Australia
George married in about 1878 a Thirza Rushworth and had Thomas Bernard
Grieg. This Thomas came to NZ and went to Whangerei.

If any of these names ring a bell I should be glad to hear from you as I
have very little at this early stage of my research. Kind regards Angie
