Ok. That agrees with one of the folks who told me how it was. These aren't
my ancestors but those of a son-in-law in Iraq and he has relatives with
conflicting pedigrees of the same Goslee family. He thought maybe a third party
could sort it out...He doesn't have time now.
Thanks.

Who was the wife of John Goslee who died 1892 in Roundhead, Hardin Co., OH?
Family was list on 1850 census with assumed wife Mary A.
Thank You Donna
John Goslee was married 3 times. His first wife was Mary Ann Kenton. She
died in 1851. He then married Diannah Prouse. She died in 1876. He then
married her sister Henrietta Prouse. She outlived him, dying in 1912. John
Goslee was the first son of Job Goslee and Elizabeth Messick.

Donna....which one of John Goslees children does your son-in-law descend
from? John Goslee had children from both his first and second marriages. I
descend from one of Johns brothers, James Goslee. Twenty or so years ago I did
extensive research on the lines of this family and brought many of the lines
forward from John and James parents. The information I have on Johns line
comes from courthouse and cemetery work in Hardin County and the help of many
Goslee cousins from that line. Im happy to share whatever I have, especially
in light of hearing that some conflicting material is out there (one of the
unfortunate side-effects of web genealogy).
