For the record... My Goodales did indeed trickle down from Canada.
My great great grandfather's family came from Liverpool to New Brunswick in
about 1811. Eventually the family moved to Maine, but some returned to
Canada at a later date.
My gggrandfather was GOODALE, John W. b. 1805
His siblings were:
Elizah b. 1800
Thomas b. 1802
Ann b. 1804
David b. 1807
Betsy b. 1809
Jeremiah b. 1811
Ebenezer b. 1812

We do not know who the parents were of this family. One of my brickwalls.
