Looking for ancestors of Adolph Gotz/Goetz, born 1803 in Wurtemberg, Germany.
He married Barbara or Barbary ? and they had three children - Catherine
(Christine Catharina, b. abt 1835), Charles (Carl Eugen, b. 1838), and
Ferdinand (Christian Ferdinand, b. abt 1842). The family immigrated from
Buttenhausen to the United States in about 1848 or 1849.
In recent research, I have found that Adolph may be a son of Martin and
Christina Gotz (Martin, son of Joh. Georg Gotz, Mueller) with siblings Anna
Catharina, Christiana, Margarethe, Johannes, and another female whose name I
can't read.
Can anyone verify this connection? Thanks.
