Dear Susan, I, like you am trying to trace my ancestors roots. It's new to me too. I have family that were and still live in Rockhill and Chester, South Carolina. They were born in these two counties and some after getting married move on to different states. However, there were so many Gladden girls and boys that they married into these families Massey, Jone, Taylor, Davis, McCullough, Fee, Banks, Epps, Robinson, McCoy, Jackson, Hemphill, Watson, Gramby, McKinnion, Duncan, Smith, Boyd, Brown and Gaither. If your aunt is still with us maybe you like me have an older person to ask about some of the names, I didn't include any first names. If any ring a bell I'll be more than glad to share first names. I have a few of my relatives obituaries and some information is helpful from them. There are a few people living that we can still ask questions? And they also were some in Charolette, North Carolina. Don't know if any of this will help us but it's worth a try. Denice
