Hello,
I am looking for info concerning the parents of Robert Givens who was in the Monticello, MS area during the 1830's-40 s. Robert married Mary Lambert 1832( Mary was originally from from Georgia, her father was John Lambert, her mother was Agnes Brown). Robert and Mary had 2 children, Joseph Robert Givens and Samuel Givens.Robert had what I believe to be a brother in Monticello,MS at the same time period Wallace or Wallis Givens. Joseph Robert Givens listed on the census records that his father(Robert) was born in Mo., but I have info that he may have also been in the S.C. area about the late 1820's or 1830 period before moving to MS.
