my great, great, great grandfather & mother are Benjamin and Sarah Getter
their records are in Plainfield twsp. Northampton cty. Pa

my great, great grand father & Mother are Samuel and Sarah Alice Getter
they are in Easton cemetary, Easton,Pa , Northampton cty.

Samuel had three brothers ( one being Leander ) and two sisters
the census report of 1860 listed him as 2 yrs. old
no more info on him as he left the area

that would make him my great, great uncle

can send you more info as my research continues

I am searching for Charles Getter (he was hanged in Easton,Pa for murdering his wife)
incident occured Feb. 28, 1833. He was approx. 27 yrs. old
