Hello Cousins,

Two or three times a year I find a need to post an email to all
subscribers about how to post here on this Mailing List. Well,
it's that time again!

1) When replying to a post, BE SURE TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT
LINE if you change the subject discussed in the body of your reply.

2) When replying, quote back ONLY ENOUGH of the original body
of the email to make yourself understood. Do NOT quote back the
entire body of a long post. On some of the Mailing Lists to which I
subscribe (not at Ancestry/Rootsweb) there is a limit of a specific
number of lines of text, e.g., 18 quoted lines. Anything over that is
automatically rejected. We could use some sort of such a rule on
Mailing Lists at Rootsweb.
