There is no English equivalent to Reinhard, Mary. This is a first name also
spelled Reinhart. It is an old Germanic name meaning "im Rate kühn" which we
could translate as "wise man"
it is possible that they used it as a last name, like Anton or Heinrich,
which are used also as last names.
