Hmmm...we're on a roll here!

My G-G-G-grandfather was a Laurence GERAGHTY, who was living in
Manhattan, NY with his son Thomas (and Thomas' wife Johanna and their
infant daughter) in 1855. He was 60 years old at the time, and widowed,
according to the 1855 New York State Census of New York County.

I've never been able to find out where in Ireland my GERAGHTYs came
from--no clues--none whatsoever!

Yes, the name morphed into GARRITY...hence my name.
