Anthony Allen Alles
“Bear,” 57, of Kersey, Colo., passed away peacefully Sunday morning at North
Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Tony's life would seem too short to many,
but those who knew him well understand that the quality of existence far exceeds
the quantity of time in which one lives.
Tony was born on Feb. 7, 1954,
in Greeley to Elmer and Delores (Herbst) Alles.
He graduated from Platte
Valley High School in 1972. On May 3, 1980, he married Cindy Graff. He spent
nearly all of his life working on the family dairy farm. Tony was an incredibly
hard-working man who always put his family first. He was generous and kind
hearted, and his was often the first car to stop and help a stranger having car
problems on the side of the road.
Tony enjoyed many things including
baseball, football and music. But above all, he enjoyed spending time with his
family.
He lives on in his son, Casey; daughter, Stephanie; grandson,
Chance; and granddaughter, McKenzie. He is also survived by his three sisters,
Andrea Bell, Alma Wertz and Ava Roth; three nephews; seven nieces; and countless
friends who loved Tony as family.
Tony was preceded in death by his
parents and grandparents.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Adamson Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the “Platte Valley FFA Scholarship Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral
& Cremation Service, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, 80634.
