Subject: [GV] Looking for a Russian Translator
Date: Sat, 5 Jun 2010 04:19:03 -0700 (PDT)

Hallo List:

I was recently sent 15 pages (translated from Russian into English) of data on a surname from Wiesenmueller, for the period 1895 to 1914. The translation was apparently done by a non-English speaker. While the names and dates are no problem to make out, I would prefer to have a clean translation.

The owner also received a copy of the data in Russian which has been copied and is being sent to me in the mail.

I could  send the stuff to Ludmila for translation @ $35 per hour, which should take no more than 3 hours.

Is there a Russian Translator among us in the US,  skilled enough to translate this data into English, willing to do the translation job at the same rate of pay?

The competency required would be at the level of those who translate Russian Census documents, birth/baptismal records and such.

Please reply directly to me at
