Alexander Greb
Alexander Greb, 71, of 1110 Cherry, died Tuesday in Reynolds Army Hospital, Fort Sill, following an extended illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Fort Sill New Post Chapel with Chap. (Lt. Col.) John Logan officiating. Military honors and burial will be in the Post Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Lawton Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 29, 1900, in Weismueller, Russia, he came to America with his parents in August, 1907. He married Vinven Burns on Nov. 9, 1927, in Omaha, Neb.
Mr. Greb served in the Army 33 years, holding the rank of master sergeant when he retired in 1953.
Survivors include his wife of the home: two daughters, Mrs. Harold Winkleman of 710 Laird, and Mrs. Royce White of Apache; a sister, Mrs. Otis Niskern of Lubbock, Tex., two brothers, W. W. Greb of 156 N. 36th, and Ted Greb of Oklahome City, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
