Funeral photo of family Specht from Seelman/Rovnoe in 1932/33.
 among Russian Orthodox it is common to display the corpse in an open coffin
so that one an say farewell and is customary to give a kiss, or a gesture of a kiss,
and even on the hands...this corpse (Granny) holds a rosary.

Is this normal also among Lutheran dead ?
