Hello everyone,

After a long couple of days of going through very old family photos I have a couple of names that re-occur regularly that I hope some of you can shed some light. There is a Borger adult male (first name unknown) that appears frequently in many formal and informal photos. These pictures would likely have been taken in the time period of 1910 to say 1930 or so. There is some family connection but my mother does not know how. The people that Borger is picture with are Weinick / Krikau / Wagners / Millers. There are also Peil people that are again showing up frequently. The Krikau bunch are Warenburg and the Weinick bunch are Holstein. I can't say for sure about any of the others.
There is also a bit of a clue on some of the studio shots. They are stamped Rapid City but no known location for that place. Could be Manitoba, Saskatchewan or a number of US states.

I am slowly putting small connections together and hope that soon it will look a bit clearer. (what a treat to see the faces of today in the old old pictures!)

On another subject... Does anyone have any knowledge about where the Volga people's ships landed primarily on arrival to US? I am not able to find any of my names on manifests to date.
