I sent it to the list because it is a story about a German family living in
the Ukraine. Even though they were not Volga Germans, I thought that some
individuals may be interested from a general Germans from Russia aspect. If
you look at the time line of events from the films website, there are
several events that not only affected this family, but the Volga Germans as
