Tribute: John David Fruhwirth was born on Oct. 14, 1933 to Joseph Paul Fruhwirth and Violet Ilene (Cook) Fruhwirth in Haxton.
Mr. Fruhwirth grew up in the Windsor area. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 and was stationed in Germany.
On April 4, 1970, he married Charlotte C. (Kobobel) Fruhwirth in Greeley.
Mr. Fruhwirth was an avid collector of many things including coins, lighthouses, and eagles. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed traveling. He was kind, caring and compassionate, and he never met a stranger. He was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Fruhwirth died Thursday in Englewood.
Survivors: His wife; two daughters, Tammie and Wayne Eikenberry of Ashburnham, Mass. and Tawnia Fruhwirth of Greeley; three sisters, Velma and husband Floyd McFarland of Fort Collins, Ruth McFarland of Loveland, Wanda Long of Loveland; two brothers, Gene Fruhwirth of Denver; Howard and Sharon Fruhwirth of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Preceded in death by: His parents, brother-in-law Raymond McFarland; nephews Ronnie McFarland and Randy McFarland.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church.
Visitation: 3-5pm Sunday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens.
