Marie Reuter, 87, formerly of Scottsbluff, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Mitchell Care Center.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor John Adams officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday, Sept 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Jolliffe Funeral Home.

Marie was born Aug. 1, 1921, to Jacob and Mary (Funk) Funk in Bayard. She grew up on the family farm north of Bayard. Marie attended Sunnyside School.
She married Leo Reuter, Dec. 16, 1945 in Gering. They farmed together most of their married lives on the family farm northeast of Minatare. When they retired in 1981, they moved to Scottsbluff. Her biggest joys in life were her family. Marie also enjoyed going for walks. She was a member of Emmanuel Congregational Church as well as the Ladies Aid. She also was a lifetime member of the VFW 1681 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sons, William (Carlene) Reuter of Scottsbluff and Ronald (Ronda) Reuter of Mitchell; daughter, Sharon (Eugene) Hullinger of Gering; grandchildren, Brian (Julie) Hullinger of Savannah, Ga., Tyson (Sara) Reuter of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jason (Jennie) Hullinger of Gering, Danielle (Edward) Gardner of Midlothian, Texas, Ryan (Amie) Reuter of Minatare, Brad Reuter and fiancé (Amanda Smith-Flittner) of Scottsbluff, and Makayle Reuter of Laramie, Wyo.; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jayden Hullinger of Gering, Gretta Gardner of Midlothian, Texas, Lilian Hullinger of Savan-nah, Ga., and Delaney Reuter of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Emma Stricker of Minatare and sister?in-law, Lorraine Funk of Scottsbluff.
Her parents, husband four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
