>From Norka:
Johannes and Elisabetha Burbach here in Lincoln, have received a letter from Georg and Anna Maria Alt from Norka with thanks and complaints about the emergency.
Mrs. Alt is the sister of Mrs. Burbach. They write that they should have received a photograph sent some 4 years ago. The father of these two sisters, Johannes Hoelzer (Hanskort), and his sons Georg and Johannes died.
Heinrich, the son of the Alt family, has been in the military for 3 years and since that time they have had no news of him and do not know whether his is dead or alive.
They ask for assistance, if possible. In response to this request the Burbachs have sent a Food Draft.
Mrs. Burbach in Lincoln, wishes to draw the attention of Johann Georg Pabst and his wife Annlisbeth in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to this letter. Mrs. Pabst is a sister of Mr. Georg Alt in Russia.
