Elsie Kinzer

Age: 81

Residence: Greeley

Tribute: Elsie Irene Kinzer was born in Severance, to George and Charlotte (Leffler) Stroman. She grew up in Severance and Greeley.

On July 29, 1947, she married Ralph R. Kinzer in Longmont.

Mrs. Kinzer was a cook at the University of Northern Colorado. She also worked for Bonell Good Samaritan Community, the Greeley History Museum and Wal-Mart in Greeley.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling and playing dominos with friends. She was loved by many.

Mrs. Kinzer died Wednesday at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit, Greeley.

Survivors: Her son, Gaylord Kinzer of Greeley; a granddaughter, Shelly Ferrera, also of Greeley; two great-grandchildren; and her sister Esther Heil of Greeley.

Preceded in death by: Her husband, Ralph R. Kinzer, on Dec. 30, 1985; her parents; nine sisters; and three brothers.

Services: 3 p.m. Monday at Adamson Downtown Chapel.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley.
