Anna "Kay" Hart, 70, of Scottsbluff, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Don Buhrman officiating. Casual attire is requested. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff.
A vigil service will be at 6 p.m., Sunday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Friends may visit from 1 to 6 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established to St. Agnes Catholic Church and to the Scottsbluff Fire and Rescue Department. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com
Kay was born Oct. 9, 1937, in Spalding, Neb. to John and Mable (DeLay) Riebschlager. She grew up at Spalding and graduated from the Spalding High School in 1955. She then attended Kearney State College for a year. She married Darrell Dean Cunningham. They lived in Omaha until he preceded her in death in 1966. She returned to Spalding, later moving to Grand Island. On April 19, 1974, she married Robert Hart at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. They moved to Mitchell in 1974, where she owned and operated Kay's Drive-In Liquor. She sold her business in 1993 and went to work at Bailey's Town and County as a checker. She also worked at Sykes and retired from Wal-Mart.
Kay was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She loved working in her yard and quilting.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Hart; sons, David Dean Cunningham and Daniel Charles Cunningham both of Phoenix, Ariz.; stepchildren, Donald (Betty) Hart of Summerville, Ga., Neal (Debbie) Hart of Morrill and Anne (Tim) Warren of Harrisburg, Mo.; 11 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Rosemary Michelau of Windom, Minn.; and brothers, John Riebschlager of Colorado and Al-fred Riebschlager of New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Ben-nett; and brother, Robert Reibschlager.
