A search of Ellis Island records reveals an Alexander Heffel who
emigrated from Dobrinka, Russia (age 20, born 1892-1893, arrived in
1913).
There is also a Heffel family who emigrated from Werchnoya, Russia in
1912 (Gottfried Heffel age 24, Anna Heffel age 25 and Alexander Heffel
age 1).

A search of the Social Security Death Index
(www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search) reveals an Alex Heffel born 30 Sep
1892, died Nov 1969 in California. His social security number was
553-22-8954. He died in Glendale, Los Angeles 91207.
