Vivian Marie Koehn, 83, of Greeley died Tuesday, July 6, at North Colorado
Medical Center, Greeley.
She was born Aug. 10, 1920, in Goltry, Okla., to Ed and Nina (Buller)
Becker.
On Nov. 2, 1940, she married Chester Koehn in Enid.
Mrs. Koehn graduated from Goltry High School in 1939 as class valedictorian.
She and her husband moved to Greeley in 1970.
A loving and devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Koehn lived unselfishly, always
making family her first priority. Her cinnamon rolls were renowned. She had
the gift of hospitality. She also enjoyed crocheting, going to the mountains
and watching sports on TV with her family. Because of her caring nature, she
spent many years volunteering at NCMC. She attended Christ Community Church.
At the age of 14, she trusted Jesus as her Savior and lived her life
accordingly. She led many Bible studies over the years, always sharing her
faith with others. She was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors are her husband, Chester Koehn of Greeley; four sons, Reed Koehn
and wife Marge, Perry Koehn and wife Linda, Jack Koehn and wife LaVeta and
Ross Koehn of Greeley; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a
great-great-grandchild. A grandson, Joseph Jack Koehn died in 1973, and her
parents are deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Community Church, Greeley.
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley.
Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
