Mark,

I, likewise, have obtained family charts from Kraft and have found the
same problem since my timeline is nearly identical to yours. I have
wanted to contact Dr. Pleve about the more simple census reports of
Kraft but have not found the time to inquire as yet. I have not heard
if data for such a census for Kraft in different years is even
available. Since you have Dr. Pleve's attention, I (and others may)
would appreciate knowing if such data is available for Kraft. Such a
report(s) would be less expensive, you may luck out with a "hit", and
like you say, a complete (early) chart would really not serve your
purpose at this time.

Genealogy has a lot of disappointing times, but never give up. Perhaps
if we get enough people directing their energy at Kraft, we will be
able to crack that 1865-90 time wall that is hindering all of us.

Keep the list informed as to what you find out about any Kraft censuses
after 1865.
