Since posting this message I have received additional information, so I
npw posting the additions & corrections in this version. Please read in
the context of the original message.

Friedrich ALLTAG (born between 1875-80) left the Volga Region of Russia
at the end of WWI around 1918, not the late 20's or early 30's. He went
to Nuremberg Germany along with his wife and three children: Johann
(Hans) - born around 1903-04, Friedrich (Fritz) - born around 1907-08,
and daughter Margarita (Marta) - born around 1910-12. letters were
exchanged between Friedrich ALLTAG and his relatives (sister Anna)
between 1918 and 1930, at which time all contact ceased.

Marina Soroka, Grandaughter of Anna Borchowskaya (nee ALLTAG), is
interested in establishing contact with descendants of the ones who
moved to Nuremberg in 1918. Any advice or assistance you can provide
would be most appreciated. Thanks to those of you who have contavted me
by e-mail with your suggestions. I am working with Marina to follow up
on these ideas.

I am writing on behalf of a friend, Marina Soroka, who is seeking
contact with descendants of Friedrich (Fedor) ALTAG (aka ALLTAG, ALTACH,
ALLTACH). Friedrich is the son of Friedrich ALTAG and Christina
OKSENHIRST. They lived in Baronsk / Katharinenstadt. They were Lutherans
and may have been associated with the church in Baronsk. They owned a
mill and sold grain. Friedrich had married sisters who were Rosalia
Yankowskaya, Anna Bochkovskaya and Maria Novikova. He also had a
brother, Wolfgang who died in USSR.

Friedrich ALTAG had three children: a daughter,Marta, and two sons,
Johann and Friedrich. He left Russia for Nuremberg, Germany after
selling his business. He wrote to his sister up to the mid-1930's when
they lost contact.

My friend, Marina Soroka, is the grand daughter of Anna ALTAG, sister of
Friedrich ALTAG. Marina lives in Canada. Anna's daughter (Marina's
mother), Irina, lives in Moscow, as does Rosalia's grandson, Igor.
Marina and these other relatives would appreciate any infomation that
may lead to the re-uniting of these family members who have not had
contact since the mid-thrities.
