Beverly Ann Troudt, 64, died Thursday at the Colorado Plains Medical Center
in Fort Morgan.

Mrs. Troudt was born Sept. 30, 1938, at the family home near Hillrose to
Robert and Esther Kembell Schott. She attended Hillrose schools through the
fourth grade and later in Fort Morgan. In 1956, she married Bill Betzold in
Yuma, Ariz. She worked in Brighton until moving to Fairplay in 1981, where
she was the senior citizen coordinator for Park County. After her husband's
death, she continued working with senior citizens until moving to Fort
Morgan in 1997. She married a life-long friend, Henry Troudt, in March,
1999, in Las Vegas, Nev.

She was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt Sr. She loved being
with her family and friends and just recently became a great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Henry of Fort Morgan; mother, Esther Lisle of
Brush; daughter, Pamela Betzold Smith of Thornton; a stepson, Larry Troudt
of Aurora; two brothers, Jerry Schott and Kenny Schott, both of Longmont;
one sister, Barbara Bauer of Fort Morgan, and two granddaughters, two
stepgrandsons, and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, one sister, her father and
one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary
Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services conclude at the mortuary. Cremation will
follow the service.

Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the charity of the donor's
choice.

The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
