I found out more about Melvin Jack HEIN. Does any of this mean anything
to anyone?

I am looking for information about Florence PORTER b Pullman, WA who
married the legendary Football Hall of Famer Melvin Jack HEIN. I am
trying to find out who the parents of Mel were. Mel was born Aug 22,
1909 in Redding, CA and met and married his college sweetheart. He was
football captain and she was prom queen. Mel died in 1992 but I am not
sure where. He was raised in Burlington, Skagit County, WA. He is
related to us but everyone who can tell me how is dead now.

Mel had a daughter named Sharon who married a WOOD.
Mel had brothers named Homer, Lloyd, and George.

Can anyone help?
