ELLENSBURG - George Busch, 91, took his final journey to join his Heavenly
father on March 3, 2003, at his home in Ellensburg. He was surrounded by
his loving wife and family.
One of 13 children, George was born to John Busch Sr. & Kathryn Zier in
Diedl, Russia, on September 1, 1911. He immigrated to American at the age
of 6 months. After farming in several states, he and his family arrived
in Washington in 1922. George moved to Ellensburg in 1935 with his
brothers.
George married Geneva Kleweno in May of 1943. Together they farmed in
Badger Pocket, where they raised four children. They retired to
Ellensburg in 1974.
George was a farmer, Scout master, volunteer firemand and a council member
and leader in their church. He was also a Veteran of WWII. His interests
included fishing, traveling in his motor home and visiting with his
friends.
George greatest love was spending time with his family. The memory of
this caring and giving man will live on within them forever. He is
survived by his wife of 60 years, Geneva (Kleweno), his son Richard
(Linda) Busch, daughters Barbara (Greg) Sperline, Karen (Johnny) Moore and
Patricia Busch, grandchildren Jason, Nicole and Kristina Sperline, Denise
Cournoyer, Cavan Busch, Angela Crozier and Jenny Williams, six
great-grandchildren, his ver dear sister Mary (Don) Wirt and amny very
special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents,
brothers John, Chris, Henry, David, Sam and Walter; sisters Molly and
Kathryn and three siblings died in infancy.
Viewing will held at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Brick Road and Bonnie Lane
on Saturday March 8, 2003, from 12 to 1:00 p.m. Memorial services
conducted by the Pastors Teske and Ruppel will be held at the church at
1:00 p.m. with burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ellensburg.
