LOVELL - Funeral services for Jerrry David Fink, 69, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lovell, WY.
He died April 4, 2002.
Born in Lovell on April 15, 1932, to Carl and Sophie Fink, he graduated from Lovell High School in 1950. He Joined the Wyoming Army National Guard and served in the Korean War with Service Battery, 300th Field Artillery. After the war he worked for the National Guard in the Lovell Maintenance Shop.
On Oct. 15, 1952, he married Thelma Bookout.
During his career with the Guard, he was instrumental in obtaining a new organizational maintenance shop in Lovell. Under his leadership, numerous maintenance awards were received by the units he supported.
He was a volunteer fireman for many years, a member of the Jaycees, a life member of the V.F.W. and a member of the Elks. He loved the outdoors, especially the Big Horn Mountains, and he enjoyed the many hunting and fishing trips he took with his friends and family.
On June 1, 1996, he married Barbara Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Fink of Lovell; Scott of Cheyenne, and Ray and Mike, both of Lovell; two stepdaughters, Teri Klebenstien of Lovell and Leanne Cozzens and her husband of Deaver; one stepson, Scott Warden of Billings; on sister, Edna Tippetts of Lovell; one brother, Bill Fink of Bountiful, Utah; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Thelma Fink, his first wife of 29 years, in 1981.
Memorials may be made to the Medivan of Lovell in care of the Senior Citzen's Center.
