Subject: [GV] Question: New Volga book by Pleve: Vol 2. Einwanderung in das Wolgagebiet 1764-1767
Date: Sun, 17 Mar 2002 22:06:00 Africa/Johannesburg
Hi Patrice -
sorry for another dumb question, but pls reply via the List, as I am sure
others will also want to know :
How does this differ from the Professor Brent Ma'is book -
does Pleve List the Kuhlberg settler information ?
Prof Mai lists the 1797 census ?
are these the lists of the 1st settlers (as drawn up in Saratov) ?
If you have the 1st volume, can you send through a sample extract,
so we can see what it is like ?
So - how many lists are there in total ?
The Sammelpunkt lists in the German assembly points ?
The shipping lists which no one has.
The Kuhlberg Lists on arrival in Oranienbaum.
The Oranienbaum Transport Lists (on arrival in Saratov)
The Saratov Lists before dispatch into the colonies,
listing all founder members of new colonies ?
Then the 1st census - ca 1769 ?
then the 2nd census in 1798 ?
have I got the order right ?
did I leave something out ?
