Went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, January 28, 2001. Age 98,
Katherine Krenz was born Jan. 28, 1903 in Saratov, Russia, the daughter of
the late David and Elizabeth (Schneider) Krenz, coming to the U.S. in 1910 to
work in the sugar beet fields. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church,
Second and Federal. She was very active in Ladies Aid for many years. She
enjoyed farming, gardening, canning, baking and chrocheting. She loved polka
dancing and did so until the age of 90. She married Paul O. Gay June 3,
1923, he predeceased her February 8, 1976. Surviving are her daughter
Eleanor D. Dennison, St. Helen, MI, her son Melvin J. Gay with whom she made
her home, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister Martha
Erzen, three sisters-in-law, several nieces nd nephews. She was predeceased
by her son-in-law Burton J. Dennison, daughter-in-law Jacqueleen Gay, five
brothers Scott, Benjamin, Herman, David and Manual Krenz and two sisters
Lydia Zeitz and Tillie Bierlein,
Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2001.
Rev. Paulette Cummings will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial
Gardens. Friends may call at the Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie
Highway.

Church? There are many St John Lutheran Churches. Where is Roselawn
Memorial Gardens? Is it in the USA or Canada?
