My website is at: http://www.martygrant.com/

I don't have much on Nicholas George's line there, just a little bit.
I'm not familiar with Monroe George. My site is devoted to the line of
Col. John George (c1603-1679) of Isle of Wight Co., VA. I've also
published a two volume book on that family. It was once thought that
Col. John and Nicholas were brothers because they were of similar age
and both lived in Isle of Wight at the same time. DNA testing suggests
they aren't even related, but that isn't conclusive yet.

It would be great if someone did a book on Nicholas George and family,
or at least a comprehensive well documented website. There could be one
out there somewhere, but I'm not aware of it yet.

>> Aaron, your Monroe may be of the line of Nicholas GEORGE of Lancaster County, Virginia. I have no knowledge of him, but there is still a lot I don't know about the family other than my direct line. Marty Grant's site may be helpful also.
