This is in line with what I am thinking too. Of course, I don't know where to
go from there. I have been looking through old newspapers but not knowing how
long he was in jail (assuming he was in jail), I don't know what date to start
looking for a headline like "Cornelius Hamler Jailed." Someone else suggested
that it was a jail situation and suggested I look through Court Records. How do
I look through Court Records when the crime would have happened in New Jersey,
that long ago, and I live in Arizona? And if I can look at Court Records
long-distance, I need an approximate date where he entered the Court System. Is
there a number of days that would be required for a certain felony-- or would
it be years--?
