Think back carefully. Was she going to read you the credit card number
she already had for you, or was she expecting that you would give your
number to her?

It is possible that someone pulled a bit of social engineering on you
and found out your phone number and that you were interested in
genealogy and was calling you for no other purpose other than to
obtain your credit card number. Chances are that you would not have
received anything at all from them.

NEVER give out personal information to anyone who calls you.
