Subject: Re: Given name TELITHA for a female - ever seen?

I didn't see all the replies in this thread, so pardon me if
this answer has already been posted.
I have an ancestor whose name was Talitha Cumi KEYE McWATERS.
The phrase "talitha cumi" (which may not be spelled correctly
here) is an Aramaic rendering of a phrase that is
something like "little girl, rise up". It was spoken by
Jesus of Nazereth and quoted in Luke 8:54 (King James).
