No, Tarch, it's just an expression, only humouristic in origin, but
gaining it's place in the vocabulary, just like when you say "my old
man/lady" and really means the one you love. Children here speak
freely about having divorced parents. It is no shame.

Such a kid will have only one mother and "father unknown" - in
genealogic that is.
