The soc.genealogy.surnames newsgroup still exists. If your news
server doesn't carry it, only your service provider can help. If you
can't access the newsgroup, you can submit queries by e-mail to the
moderators at .

Only queries in soc.genealogy.surnames and it's associated mailing list
GENNAM-L are added to the GENNAM-L archives at Folio. Queries posted
to other groups do not make it to the GENNAM-L archives.
