Surely

"surname interests"

Indicates that there's a list of surnames contained within the message and
it'd only take a second to scan down the list to see what the names are.

At the moment I'm receiving around 500 messages a day and I can do it even
with a speech system on my computer as I'm blind.

Good luck.

Tracey.
