Dear Mr Gilmour,
Can I suggest that you contact a probable cousin of yours, who may be able
to help?
He is Mr John Gilmour of the Ulster-American Folk Park at Camphill near
Omagh in County Tyrone. This interesting outdoor museum deals specifically
with emigration from the Old World to the New World, and has a large
database for researchers.
And by the way, Clogher is merely a diocese - it has never been an
arch-diocese, either in the Catholic or Protestant churches.
Happy hunting, Mr Gilmour!
