the Irish-Gaelic personal name Annsta's was originally introduced into
Ireland by the Anglo-Normans - it's from the Latin "Anastasia" and the
Greek "ana'stasis" = resurrection, a name given by the early Christians
to the newly baptized, to signify that they had arisen to a new life -
