We had a thing called Big Brother on TV last year, 12 people living in a house
together for 3 months, under the scrutiny of the outside world, and it was
broadcast on the Internet 24 hours a day. The first week it screwed up Internet
access for everyone - not just at that ISP, but others as well. Live video
broadcasts chew bandwidth, and the demand was enormous. After a week or so,
things settled down. People get bored of watching other people, and then only
the committed voyeurs stuck it out beyond that, and there was more bandwidth
for the rest of us.
Keep well
