It's a bit like when the FamilySearch site went live - remember that? (I know
- different organisation but similar chaos)

So I can't say I'm exactly surprised. A little disappointed that no lessons
seem to have been learned but I guess, regarding resources, a long term view
on likely traffic is being taken rather than a short-term fix for what was
admittedly the entirely predictable flood of enquiries in the first couple of
weeks.

Particularly frustrating as I just managed to track down an until now
stubbornly elusive ancestor but now cannot open an account to see the detail.
Grrr!

Ho hum - you'd have thought I'd have learnt to be patient after all these
years.
