I just sent an email requesting Genbox (.gdb) be added.

Thanks to those who tried to contribute information. GENCatalog searches for
eight genealogical software file extensions, but not Genbox's .gdb files.
Getting Genbox added to that list would offer a bit of "free marketing" for
Genbox. Since there seems to be little information available I wrote my
suggestion such that I hope the GENCatalog developer will not ask about the
status of Genbox.

Best,

Denise

Subject: [GENBOX] GENcatalog

Anyone remember MudCreek Software who produced GENviewer? Well, they have a
new software product they are working on and testing called GENcatalog. So
far, the application only searches for and identifies typical main and
backup files of genealogical applications. However, Genbox files are missing
from that search. As for the beta of GENcatalog, I have no idea where the
software is headed, perhaps incorporating GENviewer or GENmatcher into the
new application.

My question is whether anyone has heard anything yet following our
discussion a month ago? The March 31st Twitter entry is still the last entry
and I have seen no comments since our discussion.

Best,

Denise
