Chart Options->Content tab->Events droplist

If you use the above route you can then set which events show and which don't.
Generally I just set it to the Basic subgroup and that eliminates census and
similar events. You can uncheck the Nonbasic Events subgroup as a whole if it
is checked by default, and then you won't have to uncheck those events
individually.

However the above only eliminates census & such events per se on a global
basis. If someone has multiple dates of birth for example, tied to different
sources, then you would have to go to each individual for whom there are
multiple same vital events and exclude some of them to leave the one you wish to
print.

Subject: [GENBOX] Multiple Dates

Some files we receive from customers have multiple date entries for the same
event, this is usually caused by adding census data at various times during
the data input stage.

Even if the dates are exactly identical they are still duplicated and it's
not unusual in the files we receive for a person to have multiple dates for
a birth or death.

When designing a tree all of these dates show up in each persons box on the
tree.

Is there any way that these extra dates can be filtered out during the tree
design stages so that only the first date entered in the database shows up.
