Hi Rich,
That sounds hugely annoying!
Apart from the usual "Repair/Compact" routine and exporting the data
to, or importing into, a new Genbox database, I think your best option
is to contact Bill directly.
It sounds like your configuration is preventing Genbox from properly
closing the database.
